Membership & News
Interested in joining KPG? Dues for the Kitsap Guild are 25.00 per year for an individual, 40.00 for a couple or family, and 12.50 for students (includes college and technical school students). Those who join before July 1, will pay the full year membership fee, and those paying after July 1 will have the cost is pro-rated for the year at 50% of the annual cost. Members pay dues on/before January 1 for the coming year. Very simple! :O)
You do not have to be a member to attend KPG meetings or field trips, in fact, , the group welcomes everyone to our KPG meetings and field trips; however, membership allows you voting rights, and access to our Kitsap Photo Guild Yahoo Groups page (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Kitsapphotoguild/), where we have a protected member community to share images, chat, store meeting minutes and various documents.
EVERYONE with an interest in photography is welcome to join our guild!!!
Kitsap Photography Guild Annual Picnic
Where: Scenic Beach State Park Shelter
When: Thursday, August 26th, 5:00 PM. Please feel free to bring a family member or guest. We’ll have the briquettes hot with dinner around 5:30-6:00 PM.
That should leave us free for some not-so-serious photography before sunset. The “KPG Picnic Photo Challenge will be, “Having Fun with your Camera”. So cut loose, break a few rules. After the picnic you will be able to post your photos on the West Sound Photographers Group website and then vote for the photo that best says “Having Fun with your Camera”.
The Kitsap Photography Guild will provide paper plates, napkins, utensils, cups, juice, & soft drinks.
Please bring something to cook on the grill for yourself PLUS a potluck dish to share. Suggestions are salads (green, potato, pasta or fruit, etc.), chips & dip, or dessert. When you RSVP, please let us know what you’ll be bringing (just so we don’t end up with 25 potato salads….).
We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening with great views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mts. Hope you can make it!
