Our membership consists of many different skill levels, and photographic interests! We range from the very very beginning level amateur to the consummate professional. Often, members find they enjoy participating in other photographic endeavors as well, and we like to provide all the information we can about them!

Members of KPG have been invited to submit their entries to the 79th WIlmington Photo Exhibition, a PSA sanctioned event. Click here for more information.
PSA – Photographic Society of America
The PSA is an amazing group! The monthly publication is very worth the cost of membership (which, BTW, is VERY affordable). PSA has rigorous standards, however, you cannot go wrong learning from their instruction. The old saying goes “You have to know the rules to know HOW to break them.” PSA will definitely school you in the solid hard facts of photography! Additionally, their competitions are incredibly fun!

Professional Photographers of Washington
“PPW” is the state affiliate group for Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Comprised of members across the state, there are five active districts that host regular education events and retreats throughout the year, in addition to a large Spring Conference, and a smaller, more intimate Fall Conference. PPW also conducts a winter and summer school of professional photography called Evergreen School of Professional Photography. The school is one week in length, and held in Port Townsend, at Fort Worden state park. The quality of education obtained through PPW is unbelievable, it’s membership consists of numerous award winning photographers, with an amazing amount of experience in pretty much any avenue of interest. There are film and digital photographers in this group, all with operating studios.
Pierce County Professional Photographers Association
PCPPA is a local PPA affiliate. They meet monthly in Tacoma for education and critique, as well as competition. A wonderful group, each meeting is catered by Three Chicks Catering, and for a mere 20.00, you’ll enjoy a fabulous meal, great company, and good education! Non-members are allowed one visit, and must still RSVP for the 20.00 meal)
Seattle Professional Photographers Association
Like the PCPPA group, this one is for Seattle photographers. All are welcome, and there is a small fee to attend if you are a visitor, no meal, just awesome people and education.
